What the format is
A product that normally sits still, such as a sneaker, a bottle or a handbag, flies between buildings or over a landscape as if it were a plane, a blimp or a spaceship. The joke is the mismatch of scale and purpose. The payoff is a clean hero shot of the product.
Beat by beat
- 1Ordinary establishing shot0–1 s
- 2Something in the sky1–3 s
- 3Close pass3–6 s
- 4Landing or exit6–8 s
- 1. 0–1 s
Ordinary establishing shot
Handheld or drone-style view of a recognisable street or skyline. Nothing looks staged.
- 2. 1–3 s
Something in the sky
The product appears small, moving like a vehicle. Keep it ambiguous for a beat.
- 3. 3–6 s
Close pass
It flies near the camera so the viewer can identify it. Motion blur and a whoosh.
- 4. 6–8 s
Landing or exit
It lands somewhere meaningful, such as a store or a doorstep, or flies off. End on the product.
Why it works
- The first frame reads as a normal city clip, so the oddity lands after the viewer has already stopped.
- It works without sound or captions, which suits feeds where most people watch muted.
- The product is on screen the whole time, so recall doesn’t depend on a logo at the end.
How brands shot it
5 cases, 5 with the original video. The videos come from the brands’ own accounts or their agencies and play in the platform’s player.

Video generators handle this format well
Storyboard
- 1. 0–1 s
Ordinary establishing shot
Wide drone shot of a city skyline at golden hour. Ordinary city life; nothing looks staged.
- 2. 1–3 s
Something in the sky
A small object glides between the buildings like an aircraft. It is your product, still too far away to make out.
- 3. 3–6 s
Close pass
your product flies close past the camera, clearly recognisable, with motion blur and wind.
- 4. 6–8 s
Landing or exit
your product lands gently on a doorstep and the camera holds on a clean shot of the product.
The whole video in one prompt

The prompt also works in Kling, Veo, Seedance and other video generators.
Before you generate
- Upload a photo of your real product to the generator (image to video), so the packaging, logo and label stay right.
- Make a still frame first and animate only the one you like: video costs more.
- Label the result as AI-generated where the platform asks for it, and say it is CGI if it could pass for a real stunt.
- This is your own take on the format, not a copy of a brand’s ad. Leave out other brands’ logos, people and music.
How to produce it
Needs a 3D model of the product composited into real footage. Phone-shot plates are fine; matching the tracking and the light is the hard part.
