What the format is
The clip is styled as found footage from the 1990s or 2000s: camcorder overlays, tape noise, on-camera flash, old TV commercial graphics. Nostalgia does the emotional work, and a modern product inside the old look provides the contrast.

Why it works
- Lo-fi footage reads as personal rather than produced.
- Older viewers remember the look and younger viewers find it novel, so both engage.
- It is cheap, because the look forgives imperfect footage.

The whole video in one prompt

The prompt also works in Kling, Veo, Seedance and other video generators.
Before you generate
- Upload a photo of your real product to the generator (image to video), so the packaging, logo and label stay right.
- Make a still frame first and animate only the one you like: video costs more.
- Label the result as AI-generated where the platform asks for it, and say it is CGI if it could pass for a real stunt.
- This is your own take on the format, not a copy of a brand’s ad. Leave out other brands’ logos, people and music.
How to produce it
An old digicam or camcorder, or a phone with a well-built filter. Props, wardrobe and colour sell the era more than the filter does.
